Requirements

Required Annual Vaccinations for Dogs:

• Rabies
• DHPPi (combination vaccination for Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Parvovirus)
• L4 (Leptospirosis)

Recommended:

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough) – the vaccination must be done at least 3 weeks prior to arrival. It is recommended but not mandatory as the vaccine only covers certain strains, and even vaccinated dogs can still get kennel cough but their symptoms will likely be milder and less likely to lead to severe complications like pneumonia. We do not, however, accept responsibility in the unlikely event that your dog should contract canine cough

Required Annual Vaccinations for Cats:

• Rabies
• FPV (Feline Panleukopenia)
• FeLV (Feline Leukemia)
• Chlamydia

They must also have proof of being FIV (Feline AIDS) negative

Flea and Tick Treatments

Your dog or you cat must have had an up to date flea treatment. If you cannot provide proof of this, then this can be administered on arrival for an additional charge.

Proof of current vaccinations must be provided before your pet’s stay. If these requirements are not met, your booking may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

Please complete the Registration Form found under 'Bookings' before your pet's stay.

Medication & Medical Requirements

Please advise us in advance of any medical needs or allergies your pet may have.

• Medication that requires active administration will incur a fee of €1 per dose.
• There is no charge for medication that can simply be mixed into food (e.g., tablets in meals or treats).
• We cannot administer oral medication to cats.
• We are unable to accept diabetic pets requiring precisely timed daily injections.
• All medication must come with clear written instructions.

Additional charges:

• Dog ear cleaning (as part of an ongoing treatment plan): €10 per clean
• Veterinary visit: €50 displacement fee plus vet fees

Food & Diet

Food is not included, as keeping pets on their usual diet reduces stress and supports their wellbeing. Please provide more than enough food for the duration of their stay. For long-term boarders, we can purchase additional food when needed and invoice you directly. We can accommodate most diets and provide ample fridge and freezer space.

For pets on raw diets:

• Please provide boneless food only
• All raw or frozen meals must be pre-portioned before arrival

Cat Litter

Cat litter is not included. Many cats prefer a specific type, so please provide your cat’s usual litter. If you prefer us to supply it, the charge is €5 per litter change, changed out weekly or more often if your cat needs a different type of litter. Our house cat litter is silica.
